Resounding success of the Alpes Aventure Motofestival in Barcelonette
The small Alpine town of Barcelonette, near the French border with Italy, with barely 2,500 residents, becomes the epicenter for trail and motorcycle tourism fans for the one weekend when the Alpes Aventure Motofestival is held.
For yet another year, SHAD had a stand at this event, were adventure bike and travel lovers were able to see firsthand the quality of our products, with special emphasis on the main new product this year, the SH38X Expandable side case, which continues to receive praise for its quality, design and versatility. Great ! But please make waterproof tank bags without needing to use a rain cover ! From one manufacturer to another there is always a feature missing. Either it's not waterproof or it's not secure. So I wonder if the typical customer is not just the Sunday biker who only rides when the weather is nice.

I used a 4.5mm drill bit and it fitted perfectly I think that the 6mm recommended is way too big then it may allow for water to get into the box

Got disappointed to realize that I can't put my SH23 sideboxes on the 4p rack system I bought for this terra bags. Just why? Why don't you make same latch mechanism on the 4p system so user can mount 3p sidebox to it? Ironically, we can mount terra side boxes and terra side bags onto the 3p system. Weird.😥
Definitely a big miss on their part. Looking at the mechanisms you'd think they would be able to make an adapter for the 4p plastic bumper that could also latch the sh23 cases. I just ended up using a pipe clamp to hold mine on, but now I need a wrench to take them off.
@@BroadcastStatic The plastic bulge on 4p is only for stopper function, the function that not really needed to see how 4p box locked. I think you can change that with a n-shaped metal and weld at the same place with the stopper, so then it will function as stopper for 4p box and function as latch mechanism for the 3p box. I myself not yet did that, maybe latter.
Why do you sell this without all the hardware? Its stupid. This will be the last Shad product I buy.

I have just ordered these together with the expandable top box. Looking forward to seeing them all on my MT10. Hopefully, we will do a fitting and review for RUclips when everything arrives.
